The materials in this polymer family are chemical compounds containing ether and ketone groups. Compared to other plastics, they have exceptionally high glass transition and melting temperatures, making them ideal for high-temperature applications. PAEK materials are semi-crystalline aromatic polyetherketones that maintain excellent mechanical properties even at elevated temperatures, supporting continuous operating temperatures of up to 260°C. These materials are flame-retardant, highly resistant to chemicals and hydrolysis, and offer high stiffness, strength, and excellent tribological properties.
